I was just going about my usual day, crawling around all the nooks and crannies of Lawbot Headquarters like any good little ol' cat like me would do, when I came across the most bewildering sight: some Cogs having quite the discussion! Oh, ho, ho, lemme be the first to tell you that these weren't any ol' Cogs either! Every single last one of them were Back Stabbers, and all I heard them saying the entire time was to "beware the Ides of March..." What in Toontown does that mean? After hearing such an ominous warning, I knew something was about to go awry, so I hopped right away to report the incident to Lord Lowden Clear!

On my way there, I realized it seems like whatever they were warning about had already come to fruition. Every single street was overrun by Back Stabbers! The streets were so devoid of color and life, the sight left me feeling like those Back Stabbers inflicted me with a sharp pang of guilt themselves. Oh, if only I could have gotten there sooner...

Gah, get it together, Peach! Don't give up because it's not over yet! After all, the Toon Resistance is not alone -- we need YOU now more than ever! Yes, YOU! From now until 11:59 PM Toontown Time (PDT), we will be taking to the streets to push back this Back Stabber Mega-Invasion! We Resistance Rangers can’t do this on our own, but with your help, squashing this Invasion will be a peach of cake.

One last thing, Toons: there’ll be Resistance Rangers who need YOUR help in fighting the Cogs. If you help a Ranger out in battle, you may even be lucky enough to earn yourself a special Cog-Crusher outfit!
