Do we have enough paper lanterns? Is the table set? Is the incense lit?

Happy Lunar New Year, Toontown! Today, or two entire weeks we should say, is very special to many of Toontown's citizens! Family is gathered around to celebrate, red envelopes are being given by the elder Toons, and there is plenty of food for everyone to enjoy. Ooh, are those spring rolls?

Did you know that this year is the Year of the Snake? A zodiac animal is associated with each new year and there are 12 in total! The new year is also seen as a time for renewal — everyone takes the opportunity to reflect on the upcoming year, and hope for health, happiness and prosperity. Many Toons also do a pretty thorough job of cleaning their estates too! 

The only thing to top all of this off would be some neato fireworks... wait, what was that?

Just for tomorrow, Smokey Joe's going to be putting on a Toontastic firework display that will be repeated at the top of the hour! We're going to make sure everyone gets a chance to see it!
