As Toontown continues to grow, so does our need to protect it! The Moderation Department is looking to expand its team by adding new Discord Moderators for our Toontown Discord Hub server. If you love using Discord and want to help keep Toontown safe out-of-game, this role is surely up your alley!
The Moderation Department has three roles: Game Moderators, Name Moderators, and Discord Moderators. While Game and Name Moderators deal directly with protecting Toontown in-game, Discord Moderators instead moderate out-of-game through the official Toontown Discord Hub server.
Introduced in 2020, the Hub provides key Toontown news and community updates. It also has channels where players can see upcoming community events, post feedback, report bugs, provide suggestions for the Toontown Dictionary, and even chat with fellow ToonFest attendees!
Discord Moderators are tasked with keeping watch on the server, making sure nothing Cog-like is posted and that everything remains Toony. They are also tasked with reading feedback and messages posted by players and making sure that they get passed along to the respective departments it applies to. Postmaster Pete can’t do it all by himself, after all! Occasionally, Discord Moderators also post messages to the community, directly interacting with players.
