Hello Toontown, and Happy New Year’s Eve! I have some bad and some good news to share with you... The bad news is that the Toon Council doesn't have enough jellybeans to fund a fireworks display this year. The good news is that this year’s fireworks will be provided by me!

The snag is that the firecrackers I’m using aren’t mine. I nabbed them at the end of the Cartoonival thinking that no-one wanted them. It turns out that they belong to Smokey Joe! He’s now searching for them and seems rather annoyed. So, I’ve created a genius plan to set off his firecrackers from inside my house. He’ll never discover me here!

The plan is already in action. I’ve just moved a cannon into my house, loaded it with firecrackers, and am getting ready to launch the firecrackers out through my window. They will soar across the sky and burst into beautiful fireworks! At least, in theory. I'm currently on Cannon Number 4. The firecrackers broke the first three.

Not to worry, I’m sure I’ll fix this minor technical hiccup soon enough! I can guarantee you that my display will be an absolute blast, so do come along and watch. You can watch the fireworks in every Playground on the hour, every hour, until the 2nd of January 12:00AM Toontown Time (PST). And, it’s time to get those Cogs off the streets -- Double Experience (both Gag XP and Promotion XP) until the 1st of January 11:59PM Toontown Time (PST)!
