A Toontown Rewritten Wiki Update
Posted by The Toontown Team on November 26, 2023 at 9:00 AM
If you’ve ever had a burning question or a need to look up a fact about Toontown, it’s likely you’ve happened across the Toontown Rewritten Wiki! Specific information about any game can be difficult to find -- which is why wikis are such a great pillar of community support! And it’s why we’re here to mention that the Toontown Rewritten Wiki has migrated!
What's All That About?
The popular online resource & officially partnered Toontown Rewritten Wiki has recently migrated from the website Fandom to its own, independent website - powered by MediaWiki. All the same information from before - and MORE - exists and is being kept up-to-date on the new site! When searching online, however, there will likely still be many results that pop up from Fandom. Going forward, the info found there isn’t as likely to be current. We recommend searching for your Toontown-related curiosity on the new website itself!
If you have a Fandom account you’d like to continue off of, you can follow some steps here to quickly migrate your own account, reflecting things such as edit history and contributions! For more info about the overall migration, check out this wiki page.
Got questions or concerns? Be sure to send a wayward email in the direction of support@toontownrewritten.com. In short, stuff this new wiki link in your cyber-digital back pocket and carry on! Now, if you’ll excuse us, we should go reinstate the fourth wall.

This is the second time in the past 3-ish months, and I think the third in the last year or so, where a wiki that I frequent has migrated away from fandom to either another wiki hosting platform or, as the case here seems to be, a completely independent MediaWiki instance. I love to see it! I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say what the other two wikis were, but both of the other communities, including their admins, seemed to have become tired of the poor "user experience" of trying to use and run a site only to have to fight past some Sellbots ((advertisements)) to be able to see the page...
Can you add how many points it takes to get promotion for all the boss cogs?
Massive W for the Toontown Rewritten Community! As almost everyone knows, Fandom is a trash website (and company) that has an abusive amount of ads that make the mobile experience unbearable. It's always a nice thing to see one more game I play changing wikis!

THIS. IS. TOONY.
Woo!
this is awesome!
So glad so many wikis are being migrated off of fandom recently. It's such a cruddy site.
So glad to see more and more wikis taking a stand against Fandom and just how scummy they have been... Honestly, I'm almost convinced that the people that work there are Cogs in disguise!
I am so glad that wikis are very independent In a month ago in the past 3 months or in a year the wiki of fandom that hosts other websites that are totally relocated with the other online resources it was a very good effort for them. TOONTOWN REWRITTEN we love u so much!

W migration
I'm glad to see more wikis becoming independent!
