Daily Alpha Update: The Lone Trooper

Hey there! McStink again. This is the third post in a week from me... I'm really starting to get my name out there!
I just wanted to check in and give you guys a bit of an update on the Party. Things are going steady and the party is getting crazier and crazier, as I seem to have defused most of the dynamite in the Party Supplies. (A tip from one toon to another: NEVER cut the red wire!)
We're still waiting on that cannon shipment, which was actually supposed to arrive yesterday. The driver gave us a call and said that he was on his way, but was going to take a quick rest stop at Chortle Cafe. When he got back to his truck parked outside, all of the cannons were gone! Strange, huh?
Ah, whatever. He said he'd be back tomorrow with another shipment, and lucky for you guys I should be able to finish up my tweaks on other activities tomorrow as well! Things have been going slow, as the rest of the Toon Troop was called to work on something else. I'm a Lone Trooper on this project. Although, I don't think Sir Max has left yet... He has been pretty good during his time out -- he didn't even try to break into my party! Maybe I can get him to help me tomorrow.

Bugfixes:
• Fix an issue where Party Fireworks would restart for toons who join a party after they had already ended.

Yeah, you should get Sir Max to help you tomorrow! Good luck on finding those cannons though, I bet a magician turned them into Frogs and they hopped away.

I think your wrong with saying that Sir Max did not get in to your party...? He made a post yesterday that he stole some cannons to shoot a cannon out of a cannon and then saying he would be shot out of that cannon that got shot out of the first cannon. He also said that didn't work so he could come up with another plot to sneak into that party. Now he won't REALLY be "sneaking" into the party anymore because I told you all about his plot. Maybe you should install a a toon robot that uses factory made gags and use some to throw Sir Max out of the party. I said alot, didn't I? Well, I have a few more things to say. When will me, my neighbors, and the other toons get to move into Toontown Rewritten? You maybe should make a post about saying it's open in BETA, maybe tomorrow?

I played ToonTown a long time ago and loved every minute of it. Just recently, i went to see where ToonTown was and found out it had been closed 7 months ago. I thought "darn that stinks", a few days later I came back to see if there was any news of some sort of new toontown or Disney selling the company. After a little research i found this wonderful website. I've been looking up and down to see if there was a chance I could get on to try it out and saw it was in alpha, with my hopes up for a beta, i looked for some news on it. When i went back into the news i saw that the QnA, then i saw that there is no date for beta. I was happy and disappointed when i read that because i know that this group of people are taking this very seriously, but the chance to play ToonTown again looks to be off in the distance. I hope Fat Mcstick or SirMax reads this I just want you two to know that you guys are doing a great job and don't feel rushed, the dedicated fans will wait, don't push it just because there are some people are impatient. Thank you, you guys/girls are doing a great thing for so many people.

Ok then... It sure is "fun" when Fat McStink does a post... Really fun... I wonder when the next of his five thousand parties will be again. Well who cares. I can't wait until Sir Max realizes that there will be evil business robots taking over Toontown. That will be one step closer to beta, and even a release to the public!

I don't know if this should be in the comments or not... But if you do plan on releasing this game to the public soon, you should consider making your servers STABLE! TONS of toons will be piling in and will wanna get there hands on it. Just a heads up.

How are all those cannons going missing? I'd make sure they're tied down properly before setting off. Still, cannons are a classic Toontown staple, so it's good to see them coming in!

If you invite Sir Max to your party in the first place you would not have so many problems with the cannons. He is just a fun loving Toon just like you.

Hi everybody, I'm from Germany and I used to play Toontown, it was so much fun! I could only play it with a free account because of the difficulties with the fluency etc... I am so happy that you are trying to give us toontown back. I can't wait to try it out!! Of course I hope that it will be completely free so that I can finally play the "full" version! I will keep checking this homepage every day, hoping for good news! Thank you very much for your very good work, I am so glad that it might be soon published! I hope my English is not that bad :) Vanessa

I have loved Toontown since i was five, it helped me go through a breathing disease when i was in kindergarden. I highly appreciate you guys/gals rebuilding my favorite online game.

I Am SO pumped about the public release to TTR! Thanks again to the toons who are making it all happen! With alpha ending soon its time for me to stat planing my next toon... keeping the name though!
