"Rhymes and Times" -- It seems that we're at it again!
We love doing these posts, but we just never know when.
This one, however, brings a bunch of better news!
Unlike the last one, which was the cure of "Boo-hoos."
Because of this news, this post has little to no pickle.
Although, you'll be happy that I found your Popsicle.
This post, instead, delivers merely a bit of some insight.
We've been hard at work, yet admittedly we love a good Cog-fight.
Since we last spoke, we've made progress galore!
As promised, we delivered Elections, Cogs, and much more!
Some may even wonder if we're progressing too fast...
After all, we're building up this technology to last.
You see, fellow Toons, Toontown is nearly done!
Most of the features completed, and we're all ready for fun.
But while we all love the content, there really is much, much more.
Without proper technology, quality will become quite poor.
Let's make a quick list here: Stability, moderation, testing...
Perhaps a new website, comic, or vinaigrette dressing...
Bread, milk, three tons of butter, Sierra Mist...
Oh -- sorry, I started to recite my shopping list!
A few others to peg on: Launcher, and Linux in a bit,
Stress testing, servers, some celebratory T-Shirts to knit...
You get the point, though, with the technologies and all.
Really, without them, I'm afraid we might fall.
"Are those hard to do?", "Should we all worry?",
"But it already looks done!", "You guys really should hurry."
"I'm getting impatient!" (As if you already weren't.)
"Will the servers be fixed, or are we doomed to crash and be burnt?"
Toons, I see you haven't change any bit!
Many questions to be asked, and all with good wit.
The first two are easy: Not at all, and no.
Gameplay has been done for a while, you know!
The biggest problem of all: Keeping you entertained!
With all the things to do, it leaves us quite strained.
Although the content is done, we've been releasing it slow.
That leaves us to work on other aspects of MMO.
One of those aspects being your next question: The servers!
They've been running under par, at least to you observers.
Are they staying this way? Absolutely not, of course!
It's not a matter of money, but rather the source.
Over the course of Beta, we've ran into a bug here and there.
Not impossible to fix, but it requires much more care.
Care is exactly what we'll give it -- if we can!
The only thing we need is your patience for this plan.
And so, at long last, we get to the purpose of this post.
The content will be lacking, but we're far from a ghost.
Toontown Rewritten is in the final stretch!
We just need your patience -- that's the one catch.
With that, it looks like it's time to bid adieu.
We're off to fix the servers, and a few bugs too.

Maintenance:
• Major cleanup for the Treasure Dive minigame
Bugfixes:
• Fix a "white screen" bug after using the snapshot key
• Improve snapshots so that the flash effect won't interfere when taking multiple pictures
• v2.0 and Skelecog Invasions no longer affect the Cogs in Cog HQs
• Correct a visual issue with the Shtickerbook when fireworks start
• Fix an issue where Toons would occasionally gain Laff Points outside of Playgrounds
• Refactor Treasure Dive's logic to fix a few crashes, prevent false-positive logs, and correct an issue where Toons would be unable to throw treasures after touching a crab and chest at once
Features:
• Estates now have Popsicle treasures that restore 2 Laff Points

Maintenance:
• Fix a few issues with update deployment
Bugfixes:
• Fix a server crash relating to the Cog Path Planner
• Prevent Popsicles from causing a server meltdown by melting improperly after someone leaves their estate

I totally understand we've been waitin, but for sure we have not been misstaken! You all have been workin so so hard, and we just want to thank ya! I know my rhymes sometimes don't rhyme, but I just wanted to say it in time. I am grateful for the team we have, just hope that the servers would behave! I'm not the best at rhyming but I do see a bright future for toontown rewritten! Keep up the amazing work!

Many are grateful & patient while others feel the bugs are no laughing matter. "Proper care IS needed for rewards to be great!" is what we say to the latter. Playing toontown with family & friends (old & new) IS what makes us happy. Quality relationships in a quality game - especially if we can find Slappy!

When ToonTown opens everyone will be at bliss I try to keep my pies ready, but it's hard to keep myself steady The cogs are going down with a big frown For all you cogs out there we need your attention, cause this might cause a lot of tension. We're coming after you. It'll be so bad that you would want to be out of view! It's time to leave now so I'll leave with a bow! *Bows*

Some of us are stuck with no laughter, But i'm sure they will have some after Toontown is better! I know toontown is sick, But toons will still kick! I know some people are sad, But don't be bad! and because I have to go, At the Burrg don't drown in the snow!

It's hard to believe you did this quite quick, but it seems you are on the other end of the stick. The animation is hard and the programming too, I wonder how many more days this will be through.- (Done) I understand you have a lot of trouble, and probably the work will be doubled. The days, the months, and the years have been counted, but all of these thing have been mounted. I understand you have a life like you and I, but can you find more time? All of the toons have waited so long, I can't believe wrote this in song. You are skilled and hard workers, I understand but can you make Toontown Rewritten stand? Toontown is fun, but when will it be done? We are all at the gate, let us in so we can make our fate. It is time we know, so put on a show! We will be ready, so hold steady. Did I hear support for Linux soon? Hooray! Now I'll be able to enjoy my toon! Battling cogs, and caring for doodles, We'll have tons of fun, by the oodles. I'll stop bothering you now, with this rather bad rhyme, but I'll leave with the thought of playing toontown in time.

I've been a little impatient for the past month, but knowing that you're so close to finishing the game makes me feel good, because I've missed Toontown since the night it closed. When I heard about this website, I thought it was a rumor at first, but now I've been following you guys since April. It's a good feeling knowing that you have someone bringing back the game that you played forever!

Wow, what fabulous work you have done! When we will play, it will be quite fun! This is something we can all appreciate! In the meantime, I watch streams made by Slate! I know this game is still in Beta. But you guys will do the best, huh? Everyone is excited to play, they catch up on the progress day by day. You guys type longer poems than me, but it's a good thing this game is probably free! I can't stay here for the whole day. But when the game is in public release, we will all shout yay! You say its almost done but I know to be patient It will take lots of time to rebuild the toontown nation with even more updates and better quality then ever So we know toontown is not gone forever I know you want to make this game as toontastic as can be But being impatient I say, hurry! But I know your working hard and it will be worth the wait And you will bring toontown back to life! Early, or late I know you'll pull through and I will finally get to play The game I played since I was 4 every day! So with toontown rewritten a new start, a new toon life I'm gonna happily say... Hello TTR team here is just a rhyme just for too! If a pickle in a pepper compete with the dealer who is the toon just to defeater? I know my Rhyming might not be so appitising but so you can hear for a longing ear. If the toon of two run with the pies where shall the journey fly? You are toons of two hundreds, The toontastic toons are right inside you. The TTR team is a fantastic reem when they can just be a team. ( done ) Sorry if my rhymes dont do so good to high that the flutter in the sky.

The invasion/cog HQ fix is very welcome. Now if there was a way to make it so only that one HQ out of 4 was affected during any invasion. Seems silly for sellbot HQ to be full of Legal Eagles, for example. But Lawbot HQ? Of course! This game has been going great, can't wait to see what comes next!

Another rhyme post! I love reading these things! And Slappy has been like, a main concern about this plot I can't get out of my head (aside from Surlee)! I'd make another comment that rhymed like before, but there's nothing I can type that can express how excited I am and how patient I'll be for what's to come! :D

Wow what a great rhyme this is! I think we are all excited for this, especially the kids! It's great to see our childhood come back. But the servers don't seem to have very much speed and that is what they lack! However, I am obviously giving you a chance to upgrade it! What kind of toon would I be if I just trashed it? So you guys carry on with your awesome work. Oh and one more thing be careful in those streets where those pesky cogs lurk! Well now it's time to say good bye. I lost my play time today it surely made me sigh. But oh well, it'll get better! I bet the next big update will leave me with my mouth open, not able to type a single post with a single letter!
