Oi, Toons! Tudo bem? I’ve been busy singing and dancing my heart out this Festa Junina! Don’t worry if you only just got here, the celebrations are still underway – They’ll go all the way to julho, or July!

There’s a ton of ways to partake in the many celebrations that take place during the joyful month of junho. You could spend quality time with your friends and family, build a massive fogueira to grill delicious corn from the harvest, enjoy some yummy paçoca, dance the night away at a festival area known as the arraial, and so much more! 

As for me? You just know I’ll be singing and dancing along to my favorite forró music! It’s an upbeat and lively music style commonly played during Festas Juninas, and is particularly great for dancing to! Why don’t you come join me sometime? If you’ve got two left feet or are a little off-key, sem problemas! We’re all here to celebrate in good fun. 

Even if you aren’t the singing or dancing type, you should definitely stop by to see the colorful bandeirinhas and brilliant paper lanterns meus amigos and I have strung up at the arraial! Would you mind bringing me a glass of guava juice if you do? All these canções have left my throat parched!
