Light Your Lanterns for Eid!

Posted by Nina Nitelight on April 10, 2024 at 5:00 PM

Light your lanterns and gather your friends, Toontown! It's Eid al-Fitr!

Salaam, Toons! I hope you had a lovely Ramadan if you celebrated, because I sure did! Eid al-Fitr celebrates the end of Ramadan, which is marked by the crescent moon -- you best believe I had my trusty telescope out again! Ramadan is a month of fasting which is why Eid al-Fitr means the 'festival of breaking the fast'.

All the Nitelights come together at Eid, which lasts three days! (This year I'm hosting!) Together, we eat, talk, and appreciate the company of each other. It took me an entire WEEK to wrap all of this year's Eid presents -- I sure have a big, big family!

I'll be making my top-notch baklava once again, so come by later if you want to try a piece. There'll be plenty for all. Oh, and if you want a lantern or two, rest assured I have enough in stock for everyone at my shop!

Eid Mubarak, Toontown!

A festival? Well, I do enjoy a good festival, plenty of lanterns to go around too it seems. Oddly enough, I just so happen to keep the moon over my Estate at all times, so this all works out quite well. I'm proud to see there's a day where the moon gets some attention. I'll be sure to stop by the the festival grounds for a bite, and some chat, if I do have the time. The Foghorn Orchard needs to be watered, multiple Mr. Hollywood's with Merits I need to collect from, Sales Charts in need of studying for the sake of the Sellbot Stock Market... Perhaps I could do those another day. Very well, I'm off to the festivities.
